Finally, a bit of quality cinema! Great review, it couldn't be done without this "mood." A friend of mine, a self-proclaimed onanist, used to say: "I love myself."

John Zorn From Silence To Sorcery

Oh my gosh, how many albums has John Zorn released? This one, for example, I didn’t know at all; you’re right that such a prolific output can hide flaws, even Mozart didn’t always hit the mark. I don’t think any Zorn album can ever be worth two stars, but as long as I’m listening, I’ll give you my trust. Meanwhile, congratulations on the concise review and for the courage to take down an "untouchable."

Well bjork, and anyway I wasn't referring to you but to the phenomenon in general: good cinema to everyone, I'm going to the sea.

I read the editorial quickly and indeed I misunderstood the meaning, I'll start by saying my piece: it often happens, and this series of posts is a shining example, that the subject of the comments is really trivial, mainly because it concerns the wrong topics. It's really not nice to dedicate words to Poletti, to Stoopid, or to any human case. A good scolding to the egocentric and buffoon reviewer of the moment might be acceptable, but frankly crossing into others' pages with petty comments and quotes is really out of place. I mean, let’s talk about this fucking Cacciatore; it’s a masterpiece, right? Well then let’s talk about art. Otherwise, we’ll end up like the news broadcasts: underreported wars rage on, multinationals profit from the blood of others, the planet is about to collapse, and "newsrooms" feed us the recipe for lemon risotto and the latest tantrums of Totti. But we want something more, don’t we?

Well done. Read today’s editorial, and then all the comments received so far on this review.

Only in San Juro could you appeal, my dear Pornetti. Stroheim Powell and Murnau performing mutual masturbation in a twisted and egotistical mind are a terrible image, a bit like the Divine Comedy one must study to pass. The intellectual is someone who has an extra gear and knows how to use it; you’re doing it in the park at 5 in the afternoon, with the car in neutral. However, I can't give you the minimum score because you've hit the mark with some things: "Yet, human idiocy knows no bounds and neither does shame... Disgust first, then compassion."

...as well as a nice review. I would add, however, that good photography, in addition to the mentioned cast and soundtrack, has allowed the film to be appreciated over the years, at least until now ;)
