@ OleEinar, how can one disagree with your doubts about the vocal parts of this record, at times almost subpar? As for the lyrics, I find them fitting for the "fable-like" context of the work, and they should be consumed with a fair dose of irony. If I may contribute to the conversation about great Italian prog albums, since I mentioned them earlier, "Milano Calibro 9" by Osanna, written with Luis Bacalov, is truly a magnificent work. The first two tracks still remain among the best openings of any album I can recall.

An important album without a doubt, especially in the context of a often-overlooked southern progressive movement that is at times genius (see Osanna, one of the offshoots of the BDB). Not a masterpiece in my opinion; for a 5, you have Soft Machine and very few others.

My first Coltrane, then I couldn't stop anymore. A sound that is already profoundly spiritual, yet anthropomorphic, as you very well put it, perfect like the Vitruvian man.

It really is interesting; I was just revisiting it a few days ago, a minor masterpiece, Thoughts of You the pinnacle.

@donjunio, it's a word to review Schönberg, I've thought about it a hundred times but I've never found the thread. Dodecaphony is a complex musical concept and truly difficult to express.
