But doesn't it get on your nerves...?!

My God, what a flashback debaser gives you sometimes... honestly, I thought they were a bunch of clods even back when they were released, even though the two singles were catchy. But isn't it maddening to listen to AN ENTIRE ALBUM of bim bibudan clap clap?

I join Bartleboom and come out. I like this album too. There are some really intense tracks (I really like 30 secondi di niente - or something like that - but also Mina for example). The production is also extremely solid. Of course, Verdena can be a bit pretentious; after all, I've had the chance to mock their cursed rockstar attitudes in some other reviews. Nevertheless, they are an interesting reality that has managed to emerge from the underground without compromising the music too much.

If you think mocking people for their music tastes isn't offensive, or accusing those who comment on your album (and not even criticizing it!) of lacking social and sexual lives is just a joke, feel free to do so. I probably took it to heart because I'm a silly child. Anyway, thanks for the spot-on critique of the snare sound; I also think the drum sound isn't great in the demo we uploaded on MySpace. We'll try to fix it in March when we go back to the studio to record the official promo. Good luck with the band anyway.

I don't hate you, Alessio. Your arrogant and offensive attitude just bothered me (largely unjustified given my and Iside's very polite comments), and I wanted to respond in kind. If feeling hated makes you feel more rebellious, just ignore this last comment. Best wishes and kisses, I swear.

Yes, you’re right Bartle, it was indeed a bit of a poetic license; put down like that, it sounded much more like an esoteric formula!

You’re such a blowhard, alessioIRIDE, but who the hell do you think you are? You and your group of quote-mongers trying to build musical value - originally scarce - by taking cues from highbrow names and flaunting your influences as badges of honor. And stop with the nonsense about social life, idiot, don’t worry, I’m not spending my evenings deciphering your words. And you want to tell us you gave your rating just randomly. Come on, you rated it because deep down you’re convinced that your piece of crap EP, which sounds worse than the demos I record in my room and lacks an interesting idea, is a masterpiece, and if someone disagrees, it’s because they listen to garbage music like Queen. Don’t you realize you ooze arrogance from every pore just like those millions and millions of bands you condemn...
Black Sabbath Greatest Hits

Ah, let it be clear, heavy metal was born when Tony Iommi, after playing a G on the E string and - after a long pause - a G on the A string, placed his middle finger on the C# and with the pick struck the A string, evoking through the formula also known as "the devil's tritone" the sacred Heavy Metal. Thus was born the dark, true, authentic Heavy Metal, and certainly not 10 years later...

Well, it seems to me that the meaning of "progressive" is somewhat misunderstood in this review, but I’ve never fully grasped it either, so I don’t want to put myself in the position of a teacher... With this greatest hits, I got to know the magical Sabbath - I still remember the heavily worn cassette that originally contained it, which was meant to hold the interpretations of Lucio Dalla's songs by a piano bar singer, later recorded in favor of the Sabs - so it was still a pleasure to see this review. Of course, to make an interesting track-by-track analysis of these well-known songs, you need topics, and The Trooper, forgive me, didn’t have too many at its disposal!
Edguy Vain Glory Opera
Voto:
Well... Edguy have never thrilled me; beautiful melodies, sure, but nothing that hasn’t been done before and in a more authentic way by Helloween from the Keeper era. I share ocram's judgment; if they were a video game, they'd deserve a failing grade in the "longevity" category. The comparison to Nightfall by Blind is completely absurd, an album that belongs to an entirely different planet, at a level of stylistic and compositional innovation and originality that Vain Glory can only admire through a telescope...
