Evanescence Fallen

You can say whatever you want about the influences, which can be as varied as you like, but this is still a nu-metal album; it’s just that while in "bring me to life" they sound like Linkin Park, the rest heavily reminds me of Sevendust, with a few exceptions. However, the review isn’t bad, and neither is the album, especially thanks to the singer (5 stars for her).

The grades... if it were out of ten, it would be a 7 for the record.

I want to start by saying that, as usual, I don't want to offend anyone. First of all, I want to point out that this review is too short, possibly written out of lack of enthusiasm or just in a hurry. What makes everything worse is this story about deeper melody research, which is only true up to a certain point. Looking through the comments, I notice there's a mix of opinions... It starts with the usual ones who find analogies between Evanescence and Lacuna Coil: have you noticed that they have nothing to do with each other? Don't you understand that these Americans do crossover, which is definitely not the genre of the Italians? Then there's the guy who finds who knows what in these lyrics: sure, they're nice, but also extremely selfish, and therefore not very deep. Honestly, I think a random Deicide song is deeper, and they’re already lacking in that aspect. Here, the only one who seems to speak well is Fidia (barring the differences in taste between us, since I find Memorial by Moonspell an outstanding album and Slipknot an amazing band), to whom I give my compliments at least today. Anyway, getting back to Evanescence, the basic idea, a mix between Sevendust and the latest Paradise Lost, seems wrong to me, and I enjoy it less than both, especially the Paradise. Especially since lately I have valid reasons to take issue with them.

How much bullshit: I downloaded it well in advance of the release, so what? Does anyone want to say there's something wrong with that? That said, the review isn't exactly great, too repetitive, and then there's way too much use of bar slang instead of review language. The album and the band are out of this world, among my all-time favorites. P.S.: "It's time for them to do something stronger"??? But from which side?

I've read it too much!!! It's a mix of three thousand languages... let's just say that your "detournante" was quite shattering. I would say that accelerated lessons in the Maurra language are needed to understand it! (no offense)

Okay, I'll tell you... you seem off, or at least in the first two posts... in any case, I have a friend who has 3 nicknames here, so it was possible!

Surely one of the best works that humanity has ever created, and the masterpiece of the group. The album I've listened to the most during this period, in which I had to challenge myself, pain, and fear like never before. Well, the review.
