So… Even though I’ve radically changed genres in recent years, I must say this is an album I always think of with pleasure! It’s a record of pleasant metal, not loud or annoying to listen to; the songs are excellent (they may not be great compositions, but who cares, they achieve their goal!) and they stick in your mind (they're quite catchy too). If all heavy metal albums were like this, I think I would have a greater appreciation for the genre… as for the review, it would be perfect if it weren't for the “that no great phenomenon of guitar can give” which made me a bit grumpy (just kidding, but not really :-)

The album is really amazing (Bono's voice gives you chills and The Edge is great too: he doesn’t show off much, but it’s clear that he’s no novice when it comes to playing the guitar...). What to say? It's a shame that now they’re making crap (as QbProg has already pointed out). By the way: thanks for the review, anything but long! :-)

Mr_Iko you've piqued my curiosity! I'll listen to this album (after all, everyone has talked about it wonderfully).
Genesis A trick of the tail

This, Collins or no Collins, is the last great album by the Genesis. And it is (of course) an absolute masterpiece.
Steve Vai The Elusive Light and Sound Vol. 1

Oh my God, I believe that such a record could have been spared, as Mr_Iko rightly says, it is really an extremely heterogeneous and messy album! Just think that the best tracks are those from the "guitar battle" with Ralph Macchio, and that says it all!! An album for (very) die-hard fans...

Sorry aniel! But you know how it is when talking about music :-)
Yngwie J. Malmsteen Odyssey

"The only thing that strikes about Malmsteen is the speed." "Lack of expressiveness and feeling." "Unfortunately, there are the usual solos that ruin everything." Ehm... excuse me, but is this really the way to judge an album by a guitarist? SUMMARY OF THE REVIEW: the songs are good, the solos are terrible. I can't exactly give you applause for a review like that...
