Ten good reasons why it's worth listening to Transatlantic: 1) The melodies are well arranged and intertwine nicely with each other, which I find pleasant. 2) The vocals have been carefully studied and result, in addition to being well sung, also pleasant to hear, which I find pleasant. 3) Listening carefully, one can catch an interaction between the melodic parts and the rhythmic parts worthy of great groups like Genesis and King Crimson, which I find pleasant. 4) It's not the usual ultra-technical music like Dream Theater, but rather focuses on other elements, giving more emphasis to melodic listening, which I find pleasant. 5) In an era where prog is considered a dead genre, Transatlantic has managed to reconcile the "dead genre" with modern-styled music, which I find pleasant. 6) The singer/keyboardist formula works well because a musician who writes and sings his pieces always has an edge, which I find pleasant. 7) It's music that, unlike blues or Britney Spears or whoever you want, must be assimilated in a certain way, without judging at first listen, ultimately resulting in a stroke of genius to the somewhat experienced and accustomed ear, which I find pleasant. 8) They have nevertheless managed to create a unique sound and an unmistakable style, which I find pleasant. 9) These are all people who, unlike others, know in which direction their music is going and in which direction fans' tastes are heading: in fact, they have released only 2 studio albums and a couple of live ones, knowing that this was a side project, which I find pleasant. 10) Finally, the positive right-wing Americanism you mentioned has nothing to do with it, which I find pleasant.

I really like this album, maybe because I have fantastic memories linked to the first time I listened to it... In my opinion (and not being a huge fan of Sting), it's the best. Great review, it does justice to the album.
