But what do these Kraftwerk have that’s so special? I still haven't been able to figure it out...
Deep Purple In Rock

Beautiful review. The album is one of the masterpieces of all time, the classic of classics. But I think the early albums by Deep Purple shouldn't be dismissed just because they're different from the later ones. In the beginning, the Deep were doing proto-prog, and the band was led by Lord. Now it's Blackmore who leads the group, okay, but to say that "the old virtuoso performances of Lord's early albums are just a distant memory" seems like an exaggeration to me. Period.

After more than 30 years of honored career, Deep Purple still manages to deliver an album of this caliber. Well, I think it's a great comeback! A bit like Magnification for Yes. This album contains masterpieces like I Got Your Number and Contact Lost (dedicated to the victims of the space shuttle), and therefore I consider it a gem in its genre. Juve is right in B!

Yes, it's time to put an end to groups like this!

I was there too. What a concert, guys! Honestly, I had a lot of fun. Thank you Deep Purple!!!
Deep Purple The House Of The Blue Light

A hard album to classify, in my opinion. Half of the album contains superb songs (Bad Attitude, Mad Dog, The Spanish Archer), while the other half features terrible songs (Mitzie Dupree, Strangeways). It's an album that deserves careful listening.
