Wow, I believe this is the record for comments on one of my reviews. ;-) Thank you for what you said. That this work isn't a masterpiece is obviously clear (I mentioned it myself when talking about the corrosion of time), but it's true that it includes a handful of amazing pieces; "Uva acerba" is a really beautiful song, but it didn't find its place in the chiasm. C'est la vie.

Beautiful review, happypippo, honest and clear. Well done. The film, of course, I don't know, but after all, I have some glaring gaps in cinema (the famous gaps of Venice seem appropriate).
