Actually, 5. "Chan-son Egocentrique" and "Laura degli specchi" (I find Alice's version to be the best interpretation - after all, it was written for her, right?) are excellent, "Messaggio" very impactful, "Azimut" - I’ll reiterate - is a masterpiece.
Renaissance Turn of the Cards

Well done; I give you a 5 because it's well-written and because I'm biased. I only know the Renaissance through the magnificent four from their golden period (I've even reviewed two of them), plus the live performance at Carnegie Hall: and I will catch up. But those four (especially the last three) are a delight. For me, the best remains perhaps "Ashes are burning," but the second side of that album is something crazy. "Scheherazade and other stories" is equally valid, in my opinion (the choir in "Scheherazade," "Ocean gipsy"... what an album!).

I will listen to it; "Parsifal" is a great record, by the way.

Nooo, Kosmica: I haven't seen the movie with Bullock; but she is incredibly talented. For her career, she deserves it all, at least as far as I'm concerned.

Well, I'm glad you understand my point of view: I repeat, nothing personal. @Carlo: the comment about the photo of Guevara was meant to be a provocation/joke, about... I have nothing against him: he lived and died for his ideals, not for power; up to a certain point, he can be an example. In a way, it's the left that has made him a symbol, rather than the other way around.

*communist, not fascist: pardon. I repeat, though: nothing personal, really. I hate getting into arguments with people I don't know; it was just to express my point of view, if possible calmly. Take care.

I'm going backwards. As for economic returns, yes: it is. I know we're in 2010: but here we're talking about World War II, and during World War II the Americans saved our asses; what happened afterward is another story altogether. I didn’t say not to think it: I just said it’s wrong to think that the communists did any less. It annoys me to read HERE that you are proudly fascist: you can also sleep in the red flag, it’s your right, and I still live just fine. My analysis is hasty, true, I've let emotions speak instead of my brain: oh well. Maybe I really am from another planet, but there are aspects of my life where I wouldn’t want to always see politics and ideologized history. As for Churchill... well, damn, if I don't mention him in the context of world wars, who should I mention? And anyway, it was a closing remark to lighten the tone: in 5 years on Debaser, I believe it’s the FIRST time I've butted in on a political discussion, and I've seen far worse ones pass by.

Embarrassing page: unfortunately, Debaser is becoming an unwatchable site; silly me for still writing reviews about personal feelings and emotions. Trying to be impartial in my comment, but is it really possible that people still insist on saying that the Siberian gulags, the foibe, the massacres of Pol Pot, and so on are not on the same level as the horrors of Nazism and the black powers of any kind? And then, sorry, but that last sentence - beyond, I repeat, personal ideologies - is something I do NOT want to read in a review, because I'm on a site that, at least on paper, is meant to talk about art (art, oh my... we're talking about a fake photo, a real photoshop avant la lettre, even though it’s certainly not the only one of its kind) and knowing that you are proud to be a communist rather than a fascist annoys me. However, I want to ask you one thing: since the 3-0 of the warlike Inter disappointed you, why are you still here in this country governed by Ronald McDonald? If you are also taking it out on the allies (those who saved our asses, whether black or red), I am LEFT ASTONISHED: what is it, would you have preferred a gigantic red regime that would erase (in the same way) all individuals? Nothing personal - it's you, but it could be someone else too - but I wonder: do you know history? Do you read it? Do you study it? No, I'm asking, because I really don't understand. Before leaving this site (who knows... now this is swirling in my mind, because you’ve annoyed me), since everyone quotes, I’ll quote too someone who fought against the Nazi dictatorship (and certainly without any reservations) without yielding to its red counterpart, good old Churchill: "Socialists are like Christopher Columbus: they embark without knowing where they are going. When they arrive, they don't know where they are. All this with other people's money." Ironic truth: the photo of Guevara (over there in another gem) is practically an emblem of capitalism now. Regards.

I only know, precisely, "Streets of London" and it is, as you have rightly said, of truly rare beauty.
