Anyway, the Television are not metal, just to set the record straight. Come on, if Bon Jovi's albums are masterpieces of rock, then what are Siamese Dream? And Definitely Maybe? And Nevermind? And Parklife? And Automatic For The People? And Ok Computer? And Dig Your Own Hole? And Dirty?
Note that I only mentioned some very famous albums from the '90s, which should be listened to at least to get a broader perspective on how even the most well-known artists are light-years ahead of the stupidity of the songs by Bon Jovi & Motley Crue & Europe & Poison... in short, all that glam American stuff from the mid-'80s.

No, these two are not stereotypical... a friend of mine has been a Bon Jovi fan since middle school; she even went to England to see him live. My influence didn't help her "see the light," but in return, I managed to convince her to buy a cd by the Manic Street Preachers and one by R.E.M.... and she liked them a lot.
