Ahah, it's always "inviting" this mix of childishness, morality, and wisdom! Anyway, mine is: a bit schematic (track-by-track commentary) and lacking an adequate introduction... There's always a lot expected for albums at this level...

The review is visibly "moved" and detailed, even though I also noticed the somewhat clunky structure of the description... Anyway, great group!

Guys, what a thrill to get compliments from uncompromising know-it-alls like you :p
Ah, I didn't quite understand something, Hal, regarding "pigs on the wing", it seems to me that I've highlighted the contrast with the rest of the album pretty well, right? Maybe I didn't grasp your observation correctly.

I too, in principle, am against greatest hits, but I have to admit that it was with this CD that I got to know them. To be honest, it didn't seem that bad, although it's difficult to listen to it all the way through without skipping a few tracks... Sometimes you just crave another ballad to soothe those somewhat battered eardrums...

I wanted to write the review myself, but instead...
No big deal, even though honestly I didn't like it that much... it's a bit fragmented, but that doesn't seem to scare you! Good. I dug the album back up a few days ago and it has a groove that slithers vigorously... which is a pleasure! Sharp and deep the songwriting.

Impressive the amount of nonsense that has arisen from these pointless cataloging disputes. In my opinion, "genres" are always approximate, and to say that two artists belong to the same genre is often limiting. But beyond this, I believe that nothing justifies the arrogance that has come out in full force, at least in this field...

"one virtuoso step further," every time I think of SRV I can't help but think of this definition (from the reissue of SOUL TO SOUL)... And it's so true, what technique, what a band! Sometimes too dissonant or repetitive, but these are the traps of blues... Exhilarating the clash Fallen Angel against everyone!
