josi_ were playing in a new little place, "la casa 5", between the social center and the cultural association, few seats, a calm atmosphere, very selected live performances, in short, a nice spot. I'm sorry you missed them; it was really a lovely evening, thrilling.

A couple of nights ago, I was lucky enough to see a live unplugged performance by Josie Knows. You're right, the singer's voice (who seemed a bit nervous at the beginning) is a beautifully sweet-sounding falsetto, maybe falsely so? They played several covers, including some by Gorky's. The acoustics weren't the best, but I was close enough to hear well. They seemed really good, a great live show!

So I watched Lost in Translation - very beautiful, so much so that I’ll soon watch it again in the original language (every now and then they grace us) - the "song" by Air is perfect for the scene where the protagonist wanders around alone in Kyoto, light and suspended. I also like the rest of the soundtrack, there’s even Fuck the Pain Away by Peaches and the Jesus and Mary Chain with Just Like Honey for the final scenes. I think I'll get the soundtrack CD and maybe also the Air album.
