Oh, contemplation, you really talk to me about exhibitionism when you flaunt your muscles so proudly... Playing notes blasted at high decibels is also a way of making art... Just like showing off muscles...

What a terrible review. Then you want to show that you're the cool type who stays up late at night, just like a perfect rocker "Up all night sleep all day." You’re as pathetic as the review itself.

And you, with all the troubles going on, want to enroll in Philosophy just to end up starving? My gosh, you’re a fake and quite stupid too.

There is in hindsight, when he was alive, only Woodstock that f***ed him. In hindsight, the two houses built up the myth of Hendrix because he always appeared with guitar and amplifier in the foreground. Townsend, a great composer, but a so-so guitarist.

Have you ever wondered why you weren't a fan? Is it because they were trying to force you to listen to it? What did he do with the guitar that others didn't? The reverbs? All show, like dry ice... The fact is that Hendrix was made great primarily by Fender and Marshall; they wanted to make people believe he was the best of all. They built the myth more on his guitar and equipment than on him. But do you know that with that amp and guitar setup any good guitarist could sound like him? Do you know that a big part of his sounds is thanks to the guitar and how it was tuned? He was a pioneer in this: finally adapting the instrument to the musician's needs.

No people, you have been told that Hendrix is the number one and you, as disciples, nod in agreement. Hendrix is the best because someone told you, not because you really believe it. The myth was created by his premature death and Woodstock. After all, there were 30 other artists at Woodstock, but everyone only remembers Hendrix because he is the one who died and the one who made the most antics, because let’s face it, when you do the little noises, the guitar with your mouth, they were and remain antics. Was Hendrix a loser? Absolutely not, he was an excellent guitarist, but average for that period—just smarter at selling himself and dying at the right moment.

I expressed my opinion, but aside from the criticism, no one explained to me why Jimi Hendrix would be so fundamental. I mentioned Eric Clapton, not just some random guy, as a superior guitarist in terms of taste and skill. Hendrix was just a peacock who knew how to fiddle with the amplifier knobs, and while credit is due for that, he largely masked his technical shortcomings and sloppy songwriting with reverb and noise.

Overrated guitarist, definitely better than Eric Clapton. After all, the only thing he understood was that to put on a show he had to make some noise with the guitar and put on a bit of a scene. I've never understood why he's so idolized. A charlatan.
