The Faster Pussycat represented one of the highest expressions of street rock that was rampant in Los Angeles towards the end of the '80s. If I'm not mistaken, two of its members owned a famous venue on Sunset Boulevard, I think it was the Whisky, where Motley Crue and Cinderella often performed. We joke about it now, but back then, if you went to a club, you could actually run into Motley Crue watching strippers, just like in the video for Girls, Girls, Girls.
