BUT wasn't Darrel the guitarist of Pantera? WHO ARE THE BLACK LABEL SOCIETY? AND WHO is WYLDE?

Segovia played classical, not acoustic, God! And don’t make those comparisons, because if it weren’t for Segovia (who revived the guitar school that had kind of faded away in the 1800s) there wouldn’t have been Hendrix either... and I’m not joking...

Apart from the fact that Petrucci studied jazz composition at Berklee, so he's not just some fool, I recommend everyone to listen to Suspended Animation (forget about those harmonic minor scales at two hundred on the metronome...), that’s a great album. Satriani is a great because he revolutionized guitar sounds, even creating CDs that returned to techno sounds (let's say he's a tenth of Zappa). Malmsteen is a great guitarist, but in terms of composition, he's zero. Want to compare him with Rhapsody? And anyway, his pieces are very similar, actually his solos are very similar (well of course, he always uses the same scale). In conclusion, I reiterate that I don't count for anything and if someone likes Yngwie, they MUST listen to Yngwie.

For Marco: yes, quite a bit, especially Satriani. For Frasco: thank you for your support, and let me clarify: no one here intends to compare geniuses like Hendrix, Vaughan, or Slowhand (who would be Clapton, for those who haven't figured it out yet) with Petrucci and Satriani, but as of now, in my opinion, they are the guitar heroes... (the comparison with Di Meola, however, is valid, believe me...)
P.S: If I may say so, since I haven't done it yet, I would like to mention that your review, in my opinion, is a bit short (although definitely better than others on this album), even if it's comprehensive for those who should rely on it for the potential purchase of this album (I give you a passing grade just for this). Regardless, my opinion doesn't count for much; I haven’t written any reviews myself, and I don't want to be one of those who judges but doesn't act; so you're sufficiently good.

Not songs, pieces. Pardon.

In my (humble) opinion, Yngwie is a great guitarist (although truly way too show-off), but that’s where it ends. Period. He hasn’t revolutionized anything (if playing solos on harmonic minor scales instead of natural minor or modal scales like is usually done in rock is a revolution...) and all his songs sound alike... So, in my view, he’s not one of the greatest guitar heroes, unlike Hendrix, SRV, and Slowhand in his prime for the past, while nowadays Di Meola, Satriani, Petrucci.

Well Fidia, sorry for my aggressiveness but it was just a setup to see how you would react (anyway, I'm really 15). Just one thing, out of curiosity, how are you so sure that babbANO is a fake?

For those who don't know... to avoid questions like "what does the last sentence mean," I immediately explain that "FASCI AL MURO! AL MURO!" is, so to speak, the battle cry of the Brigate Autonome Livornesi, of which I am a part, so I always greet like this! Anyway, I also wanted to compliment babbANO because the reference to David and Goliath was really spot on.
I greet you all.
