Morrissey Vauxhall And I
Voto:
I was never really excited about The Smiths, and the little I liked was due to Johnny Marr's Rickenbacker. Consequently, Morrissey's solo records never really did much for me.
Metallica Master of Puppets
Voto:
Well done, great job on an epoch-making album.
Ray Charles Ray OST
Voto:
More than for the music, the vote is for the film: soporific. I’ve never liked the music, but it’s certainly not my genre, so I can’t judge.
Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young Four Way Street
Voto:
Bruno, I think you're confusing me with Sanjuro: my fellow citizen, but younger than me.
To Massimo: my metaphor may be a bit excessive, but it referred to the historical context, certainly not to the quality of the album. At that time, it was thought that the Woodstock phase would last long, and that a new society could be forged based on music. Unfortunately, in the early 70s, this belief would prove to be a utopia. Then certainly, those who have the vinyl of Four Way Street can make this sun shine infinitely!
Cream Disraeli Gears
Voto:
Everything is very nice, even though - I don't know why - Clapton has always kinda annoyed me...
Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young Déjà Vu
Voto:
Well, Neil Young was definitely at Woodstock, since on "roll another number" he would sing the lines "I'm not goin' back to Woodstock for a while / though I long to hear that lonesome hippie smile." I've always known he played with CSN, and that was one of their first concerts. Who knows! I asked some Young fans, we'll see!
Liars Drum's Not Dead
Voto:
not to mention all the clones of albums that have already been reviewed multiple times, like those by System of a Down or Slipknot.
Liars Drum's Not Dead
Voto:
I completely agree with northern sky. Well, there are certain reviews that are so poorly written or so brief that in a couple of minutes you can add them to the link "reviews of the day."
Liars Drum's Not Dead
Voto:
It's true, open mind, there are a ton of completely unnecessary reviews, like this one about Mattafix, or whatever the hell they were called. Four lines for a shitty album to begin with!
Stone Temple Pilots Shangri-La Dee Da
Voto:
Because Stone Temple Pilots have always wanted to make money by chasing the grunge trend. Then they also made some nice albums, but they are definitely inferior to those of Alice in Chains or Soundgarden. Number 4 and this one are really terrible.
