Tom Waits Asylum Years
Voto:
I agree with the skepticism towards pseudo-anthological operations like collections, compilations, etc., especially regarding artists who develop articulated and complex discourses, which could never be effectively captured by a selection of tracks. Anyway, good review.

Every comment is unnecessary...well done Andreas61.
Billy Cobham Alivemutherforya

Cobham seen live is nothing short of impressive; I didn't have this and I didn't even know it: well done and thank you vellutogrigio.
Antonio Carlos Jobim The Composer Of "Desafinado" Plays
Voto:
Very good at describing Jobim's discreet, essential pianism, which operated through subtraction, avoiding excess in superfluity and mannerisms, achieving elegance and purity of melody and structure. Faiv.

Maurice Ravel Tzigane, Rhapsodie De Concert
Voto:
Indeed, a most welcome Ravel invasion on DeB!!! I join in the praise for the effective review and the refined proposal of the Tzigane, a dazzling composition with immense appeal. I too have in my ears the superb version by Accardo with the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Abbado: I can't even imagine it being played better! Available on double CD DGG series Panorama - Ravel. Greetings to the audience in the balcony.
