Supersoul, I love the grezzoni, could you recommend something from Vertigo? I took a look at the discography (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vertigo_Records) and I didn't see anything among the stuff I know that’s more troglodyte than Buffalo. My ignorance, please recommend me some gems.

Yes yes, heavy metal! I'll look for the Rose Tattoo right away, dear supersoul.

There must be some mistake in the sample if it sounds like the Creedence.

Eh now, for 1973 they were quite heavy, in my opinion. In fact, at the link provided by Antmo, I read: "The album is actually very comparable to BLACK SABBATH. In fact, BUFFALO opened a tour for the mighty SABBATH, and by some accounts, blew them off the stage." :)

Thanks guys for the warm welcome :) Trell, it’s not essential stuff; that was just a taste, I would recommend the rest only to hardcore troglodytes (like uuhpanicouuh, are you one of us?). Lord, of course they sound like Sabbath! @autopilot: where do you find it? I bet it’s a bit pricey, imported from Australia :(

Noted this too. I think it's time I delve a bit deeper into this stuff.

Welcome to the world of de-reviewing Ole, and I join odra (don't be modest with the times we live in). I usually don't prog, but who knows...

Oh pretazzo, these seem to please me even though I don't bask in delight in the new-wave. Beautiful page, as usual, greatly raises the average of recent times.

Well, pretazo, this album is, in my opinion, a collection of pop gems like very few others, and it has peaks (Green Eyes, Find Me...) that Warehouse could never even dream of. By the time of Warehouse, the Huskers had already faded. Regarding the production, I agree; they never had a decent one. At least this was the first album produced by them, and evidently this was more or less the sound they had in mind.

Everyone talks about it as if it's amazing, but I don't know. The vocals are definitely there for it to be a dubstep album, much more than in the previous self-titled one. And the problem, in my opinion, is that: the sound is really cool, but the voices make it a bit more mainstream.
