La Düsseldorf La Düsseldorf

Wow Airone! I ordered it today, it's 12.90 EURO + 5 for shipping. 17.90 for two classic spooky tales in one CD! Odradek, I got the idea of linking to other reviews from you.

OK, I read it all and I'm voting for you again. I liked the one about Rip Rig + Panic more (which I have among my recommendations), but hats off. Hey Odra, I'd love to know what you think about La Dusseldorf (a great unknown classic – but I bet you know it), my review of that album is on the homepage just a few lines below yours, bye.
Ministry The Land Of Rape And Honey

Can I recommend a music criticism website? www.markprindle.com is run by a guy named Mark Prindle (a huge fan of the Fall) and, although it's veeeery sprawling, it's often fun to read (for those who know English, of course) and at the end of each review, he incorporates comments from visitors (a bit like debaser). There are also many interesting interviews.
Mercury Rev Yerself Is Steam
Voto:
A huge record, sticky and perverse. A bit overrated in my humble opinion (it even gets a 9 from Scaruffi!). Definitely not the best of '91 (the year of Spiderland) but without a doubt the best of Mercury Rev. The review seems like a summary of Pierone's.
MC5 Kick Out The Jams

I prefer these to the Stooges; they engage me more! Anyway, Jimi was kicking ass 2 years earlier (even if not quite as badly).
Fake Swedish Get Correct

Very interesting. Unfortunately, I still need to delve into the '60s, so I'll pass.

I don't think they're for me (like a good part of progressive), but the review is cool.

I'll give you a 5 on trust, I'll come back to read it. I've never heard of her, but the cover doesn't inspire me much (wow, what a deep thought).

Paul McCartney should just shut up already!

Very beautiful and interesting review. I need to listen to it.
