Wanderer, how many damn albums are you putting on the shopping list? Antmo, this isn't up to the levels of the last ones.

Good job, but when are you going back to the krauts? There's no one left reviewing the Germans...

You say? And yet those little uooo-uooooo choruses (just check the first song) sound very surf-punk. For the rest, I agree completely, Naked Raygun are several notches above.
Dead Kennedys In God We Trust, Inc. EP

Ah, their debut album was called Fresh Fruit etc. without the plural "s." It was indeed a great LP, but it never hooked me enough to get any other albums by the Dead Kennedys.

Here are some suggestions: the introduction (first paragraph) is useful, the third paragraph is a bit less helpful (except for the mention of the cover, which fits). However, in the end, you talk very little about the music on the album, only in the second paragraph (bold part). It would have been interesting to know what emotions the record evokes, what is personal and special about the sound and the intentions of the Dead Kennedys, and things like that. Personally, I find the brief descriptions/list of songs (third paragraph) a bit annoying. Nice review, though :)

It sounds really interesting. From how you describe it and the cover image, it reminds me a bit of Roy Montgomery's psychedelia, is that possible?

mmm, I don't know. I listened to it some time ago and it left me a bit bewildered. I think I’ll have to give it another listen. Great review as usual...

Sorry, I’m interrupting to comment on the review. Excellent as usual, but I have a doubt: odradek, are you sure that your judgments are always truthful? Listening to so many new albums runs the risk of not allowing for deeper understanding; is it possible that you’ve misjudged some of your review acts occasionally? It’s a doubt that arises also when considering the fact that I’ve only understood certain albums after YEARS, so how can you review and judge by listening just a few times?
Naked Raygun Jettison

I finally listened to Jettison: fantastic! Naked Raygun feels like a more varied, concise, dry, and brilliant version of Agent Orange (I don't know if you're familiar with them). It had been a while since I discovered a melodic punk album of this caliber (more or less since I discovered Bad Religion), thank you.

SUPER BASIC BANDS ?!?! Sorry, but I think you should listen to the bands we've mentioned; I already suggested that a few lines up. Think twice before throwing out comments like that, nobody (in the latest comments) insulted Nirvana. Simply put, I find there are better bands; in the end, it's all a matter of taste...
