Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers Damn The Torpedoes

You know what? I can't stand his voice. He's one of the singer-songwriters that annoys me the most, along with Jackson Browne (unbearable).

Sure :) @sfascia: I would say that all in all, I completely agree with you (it's true, I'm biased).

Well, I don't like it at all. I was advised that this was the "summa" of Tom Petty, and I'll leave it at that.

I'm really glad, trell, seriously. This EP is a little gem; it contains the old SR but also something much softer and kraut-inspired. Who remembers La Düsseldorf?

@sfascia carrozze (and everyone): one difference I’ve noticed between the cinema section and the music section is exactly this. Over here, there’s sometimes an exchange; people recommend albums, share tips based on their tastes, and not infrequently, there are pages that don’t demand but create. Over there, reviews are often detailed examinations by users who pose as professional critics and try to offer the community who knows what new brilliant interpretation, and the same goes for comments. Music section: exchange and sharing (not always, but it still exists) / Cinema section: rationalistic criticism of 'sta ceppa. Could it perhaps be due to the expressive medium?

@Sanjuro: I agree with you, I've never downloaded anything either :)

What's wrong with revisiting the same things from 18 years ago? Especially since it seems to me that we've retained the same spirit as back then. If you like Savage Republic, I don't see why you should hold back from this EP. If you don't like them, the issue of rehashing doesn't even arise. Are you maybe the snob in my slippers that I mentioned in the review? ;)
