But why do you think Ligabue sells out? He doesn’t make silly songs just for the sake of selling like Zucchero has been doing lately (just look at Il grande baboomba, not to go too far back). All of his songs seem to me to be composed of beautiful music and lyrics...

Perfect... another question to understand better... but what does Capossela have that is different from Zucchero aside from the genre (and the propensity for plagiarism!)?

Ah... another question if you don't mind... I am left-wing (but quite moderate)... are you communists?

Listening to your "mature" advice, I'm starting to listen to Caposella... I still can't give a judgment... but what fascinates you about this singer-songwriter?

Well, I might not understand music, but I know Italian grammar and I can tell you that objectively it’s written with just one B. Anyway, aside from that, I’m young, so I haven’t experienced the evolutions of the great bands that made music history, and perhaps from this perspective I can be a bit "ignorant." I admit that many of Zucchero's songs are genuine rubbish: the lyrics of songs like Pippo, You make me feel loved, L'urlo, Povero Cristo, Datemi una pompa, O.L.S.M.M, Sento le campane, Music in me, Porca l'Oca are truly unbearable and (for me!) recommended only to a foreigner who doesn’t know Italian! However, for me, songs like Feels like a woman, Il volo, Diamante, Dune Mosse, Così celeste and Ali D'oro are extraordinary. Also, the fact that Zucchero's "blues" has nothing to do with Cocker's or J.L. Hooker’s Blues is something even a baby (just to make you happy) and an ignoramus (that’s fine too, right?!) like me can notice. Furthermore, I’d like to add a point for reflection: what future does Italian music have? What will the likes of Meneguzzi, Di Risio, Dj Francesco, Laura Pausini, and a ton of other garbage contribute to our music? I see it as bleak...

Giovanni, I don't think you need to justify yourself to anyone. Everyone has their own musical tastes and passions in general. I think the same way as you about Zucchero... but (I repeat) I believe you don't have to justify yourself to anyone. No one should dare to say that you or others have limits. Long live true music! And I believe that Zucchero is an unmatched example of a producer of good music.

Anyway, if you know "Pene," a song generally unknown to those who aren't true fans of Zucchero, it means you don't listen to the Emilian singer that much. For example, I hate Laura Pausini and I don't know any of her titles, while you, on the other hand, know about your hated Zucchero, even "Pene"... congratulations!

Well, even though unlike you I appreciate Zucchero as a singer, I want to join in this "game" of yours and I also want to point out Voodoo Voodoo... a track with an incredible series of double meanings...

Long live the league! ps. I love music is a fictitious evil, don’t worry...
