Well, senior86, if '86 is your birth year, then it's because we're roughly the same age. We were both a little fed up with the banality and monotony of MTV, nothing appealed to us anymore, until someone recommended the old Bryan, something new and so much more beautiful than our previous listens that it felt like musical paradise... or at least that's how it was for me. Anyway, after this album, I started to discover all kinds of different bands, all kinds of different atmospheres, and it was enlightening... was it more or less the same for you?

I wanted to review this album myself, damn it; it represents the transitional moment I went through between the crap music of my teenage years and serious music, it was my turning point! But the review is beautiful and the album deserves the highest score, if only for sentimental value.

a somewhat schematic review, but still nice. I bought the record for 1 euro at the Shanghai market together with 'fallen'; one is the ugly copy of the other. 'fallen' had something beautiful, this one instead is ugly ugly ugly.

Yes, but to have an even broader view, I also recommend Lacuna Coil, Modena City Ramblers, Bandabardò, CCCP, Banda Bassotti, Radici nel Cemento, ska-j, Elio e le Storie Tese, Meganoidi, alongside the classics such as Guccini, De Gregori, De Andrè, and anyone else you can think of... after all, they’re Italians too, so do you think they’re just as horrendous compared to the Finley...
