I have a bit of confusion in my head about various Bunuel films. For example, the one where the family gathered in the bathroom together (instead of at the dinner table), around a table with six beautiful personal cups, and then each one went off to eat alone in the bathroom, was that this one or another? I won't vote for the film because I think I'm mixing it up with others, always by Bunuel. The only one I remember clearly is my favorite, "Belle de Jour."

As usual, I arrive late... I completely agree with the reviewer, a pretentious & hateful film this.

"(with all the Bataille and Klossowski that's in it), "Last Tango" is a story that winds around itself and the narcissisms of two subjects who exchange life for thought and gesture for action" a beautiful description, worthy of a Carmelo Bene, among the most spot-on I've read about the film. However, the film, while at times a bit inconsistent and convoluted, ultimately pleased me. Good review, but I don't share the judgment. "The Last Emperor" and "Little Buddha" also really sucked for me; I completely agree with you. I will soon make arrangements to watch Zagarolo, which looks promising too.
