I quite liked "Want two".

Well, if the emptiness is of this magnitude, I'd rather have it than certain fullnesses. Happy, if you say this film celebrates the bourgeoisie, you seem a bit Manichean. What were you expecting? Antonioni isn't Bunuel, but he has his own stature too.

If you want to trash an Antonioni film, pick another one because this is objectively a masterpiece, no doubt about it.

You don't just tear apart a fantastic movie like that, are we kidding...?

Well, in my opinion, you've chosen the wrong movie to stage this dialogue, which, as far as I'm concerned, would be perfect for Visconti's The Leopard. This is a film that, in my view, is not boring at all, and I say that as someone who gets bored easily. You could have at least mentioned the music of Herbie Hancock and the Yardbirds, or that stunning beauty of Jane Birkin, a magnificent cameo. Boring films are others.

Terrence Malick The Thin Red Line

In my opinion, it’s a rather mediocre film; "Full Metal Jacket" now that’s a war movie. Anyway, de gustibus vige as usual.
