In my opinion, the individual tracks are enough to understand that these two have no talent whatsoever. I wonder how they belong to that circle of Roman singer-songwriters who have truly made some good albums, like Fabi, Silvestri, and Sinigallia. The latest Sanremo single was actually quite good, at least when I heard it live with Niccolò Fabi. In the studio version, however, there are some pathetic arrangements, almost hip hop. I give them a 2, but not to the album since I haven't listened to it.

How can you give this album a 2? The answer to the question is very simple: "Hotel California" is the title track and serves as the obligatory entry point for understanding the album. Once you're in, you stay there until the end. Enjoy interpreting and rereading the lyrics; you'll see everything from a different perspective.

Sorry, but this together with Calypsos by De Gregori has become the "whore" album. It sells easily and to everyone. Too many reviews, is there still something to say?

U2: take "Boy"; then take "The Unforgettable Fire"; then "The Joshua Tree"; then "Zooropa"; finally "Pop". Do these albums seem the same to you? I don’t think so. Simple Minds? Did they make girls dance? Yes, of course with "Don't you forget about me"... But what about the rest? Listen to "Street Fighting Years", where they smoothly transition from stadium rock to traditional Irish dances, up to songs of civic engagement. It’s not as you say, I’m sorry.

If you ask me this question, it means you’ve never fully listened to albums like "The Joshua Tree" and "The Unforgettable Fire" (U2) or "Street Fighting Years" and "Sparkle in the Rain" (Simple Minds). Anyone who thinks they can feel emotions through music can’t help but be captivated by certain records. I don’t love punk, yet I’m still fascinated by the Ramones or the Clash... There must be a reason, right? I’ve already told you that you need to have respect for a genius, no matter what genre they work in. The Edge used to lock himself up for hours at home to study the delay on "Where the Streets Have No Name," and Queen wrote "A Night at the Opera" immersed in the studios for weeks. So you can’t just show up and say they’re half-baked. Do you understand the concept? It seems quite simple to me. P.S.: what does it mean that U2 has been making chart-topping songs for 15 years? Please. Bono & Co. have never lost their original style, even in relatively catchier yet more questionable tracks like "Beautiful Day," "Vertigo," or "Elevation." Have you ever been to one of their concerts? It’s something extraordinary; no one can organize and present an event like that.

Look, go read all my posts: this is the first time I've insulted someone, so clearly you really deserve it. Don’t tell me you’ve been polite until now, because sometimes curse words aren’t needed to be “unpleasant,” concepts are enough. And you’ve done nothing but call me a fascist (for reasons that remain obscure to me), you tell me I learn from Maria De Filippi and Co., “noble de sto cazzo,” etc. Is that enough for you? Moreover, you know very well that you can compose great songs with just three chords. Do you remember Bob Dylan? Calling U2 imbeciles is almost like denying the Holocaust. Forgive me, but you really asked for it. Don’t be the standard-bearer of pseudo-culture, that just digs your own grave.

Dear Undying, of course Elton John and David Bowie are incomparable in genre and style, but you can't say that Elton dreams of "taste and refinement"... After all, he has written some of the most beautiful songs of the last century. Isn’t "Tiny Dancer" refined? "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road"? "Blessed"? And remember that Bowie had his share of rubbish too. Two great artists, enough with the comparisons!

Now you deserve it: you’re an idiot. You’ve pissed me off. I live for music, how dare you say all this bullshit. I love Pink Floyd, Dire Straits, shut that mouth of yours. And they haven't sold millions of records? No, huh... When we talk about consistency. And then some people really know how to hold a guitar and how... You don’t need the solo from "Sultans of Swing" to show that you’re a genius. Not even 100 heads make the brain of Brian May and The Edge. You’re so full of yourself, even if you don’t like U2, Simple Minds, or Queen, you should have respect because they are legends. And Italy moves forward with people like you, you pretentious know-it-all.

Perfect. Your answers are all I need. Now I understand everything; I was wasting my time with a fraud.

Live there=Marco Poletti: why did you suddenly leave comments on almost all the reviews where I intervened? It's just my curiosity. I’d like to ask you another thing (don’t take it the wrong way!): why do you never leave ratings on the reviews, but only on the albums in question? Don't you feel like reading them? Hi
