"Unfortunately in Damnation and A Day (the latest CD by CoF) the absence of the drummer was felt a lot"... but what Italian are you using? I hope this was your first review. As for the album, I don't know it. Regarding CoF, I have always criticized them (after seeing them live at the Tatto the World festival and in Imola), although I personally love Midian and some of their covers (fantastic "Death Comes Ripping" by the ever-remembered Misfits!).

Really beautiful and precise review! The album is undoubtedly a masterpiece. In my opinion (well, it doesn't mean much, but who cares), in its own way, it's the beginning of a new way of conceiving music (even for the lyrics, finally leaving behind some overused themes). Absolutely amazing!!!!!!

I don't know the album, although I saw them live at the Tatto The World Festival and they played quite well, even if not at the levels of Children Of Bodom and Slayer. Still, I agree with you on the last comment. Given that I've listened to Lacuna Coil (and I also saw them at the Heineken), in the beginning they could be considered almost a decent band (according to debaserian standards of 2), but now they have become really poor: if it weren't for the singer (I believe her name is Cristina Scabbia, quite a hottie), no one would pay attention to them anymore.

Great Malmsteen! Today, just as back then, he is technically outstanding. This live performance is a masterpiece, it's just a shame that he has really burned out his brain by proclaiming himself God (just watch some interviews online where he shits on all the guitarists today who are different from him... while the valid ones are, in his opinion, his own clones!).

Probably the best band of the early '90s! Not just metal or rock, but absolutely! I also enjoy the last two albums, although they're inferior to Slow, Deep & Hard and this splendid Bloody Kisses!
