"chocolate starfish..." is just the dividing line between the experiments of the 97-99 period and the horrific yet predictable militant rap/post-grunge incursions from results may vary onwards. here the beats are well-crafted but banal and overused, polyrhythm is lacking and DJ Lethal's scratches are hardly noticeable anymore. however, certain songs from this album still remain "memorable."
