I wrote "a surprising contamination between metal and rap" because that was always and only the impression that music journalists conveyed, as they know very little about Linkin and even less about Jay-Z. Even though Linkin themselves have hardly anything to do with METAL, and as for RAP, they really suck. Self-referential crap and covers of themselves.

Hi mary93. I listened to "One" by Metallica covered by Korn, and I have to admit that Jonathan Davis does a fantastic job. It's interesting to hear Davis's "double" vocals tackling a piece like this, and the Korn guys don't disappoint when they go for that half-thrash metal sound.

Gerasimo, the only rap rock (or rather rap metal) album by Papa Roach is "Infest." And before that, there were their unofficial releases, including "Old Friends From Young Years" from 1997. Since LHT, no more rapping, except for "Anxiety" (with those kings of the tacky nightclubs, the Black Eyed Peas) and "She Loves Me Not"...
