It never appealed to me, but in the second half of the '80s, it put together a nice amount of surprising songs.
Bruce Springsteen Lucky Town

More successful and streamlined than its twin, it deserves reevaluation, even if some tracks seem rather weak to me ("Leap Of Faith" and "My Beautiful Reward").

Read several times. Remarkable, in its emptiness, is the figure of Alfonso Nitti, with his mediocre aspirations and his ineptitude in action and sentiment, around whom characters are drawn mercilessly in their pettiness (besides the figure of Annetta, I think of many minor figures that leave a mark, even if only a few lines are dedicated to them, like the rough shopkeeper Creglingi, the beastly "badante" of Alfonso's mother, and the inept and arrogant Bravicci, a young recommended clerk). And the ending is chilling, even if predictable.

Great review, but I find the proposal rather heavy. Moreover, Doris Norton is missing (whom I appreciated listening to some tracks from Bartoccetti's work in the '70s).

Nice review. My search for music will one day lead me into this world as well.

Horrible album by a horrible character. The presence of Notorius Pig and Mary J. Blige makes it worse, if possible.

Agree with Sun. Tender, tender review and film... for a young, young audience. For others, there's "Fantasia".

Honor to merit. To Ivano Fossati, who refused to produce it when he was an unknown young artist.
