Cute name... I thought they would reinterpret the songs of the Oliver Onions in a blues-noise style. Vasco Biologico fans are a social plague.

Great job, as always. I also prefer the old roads.

A slightly less polished review than usual (the translated titles are missing!), although hilarious. @ Sfasciacarrozze: the best results I've achieved were with a dinner of beans with sausage and prunes accompanied by banana slices and "digestive" biscuits (the round, whole grain ones).

To stay on the theme of the Aretinians at Sanremo, I also mention Kriss&Saratoga (it's hard to find trashier names than that), who appeared at the disastrous edition of '75 (the one with all unknowns, debutants, or "big" names of little appeal) with one of the worst songs in the lineup ("Piccolo bambino caro," a well-deserved elimination), only to dissolve immediately after.

The review had me laughing my head off, and I believe the album is no different. The cover also reminds me of those incredibly sad albums by neomelodici that you find in the bins at the supermarket or at the rest stops.

An evocative review, but I don't believe the album is equally so. The name chosen for the supergroup, in my opinion (but it's a purely personal opinion, from a musical onanist), is unfortunate: it reminds me of a group similar to Ricchi e Poveri that sang in English in the early '80s. As for the Bono-Pavarotti duet, I’ve always found it as enjoyable as a tiramisu with Manzotin.

Great review... the opening quote from Waterloo Sunset (a song I used to hum often back in the day) and the one from End of the Season really put me in a good mood. I believe the Kinks were the best British band between 1966 and 1970, especially when it comes to the lyrics.
