Silvano Agosti Il giardino delle Delizie

Interesting character: I know him mainly for his philosophy on work, expressed in the "Letters on Kyrgyzstan." Some of his films have become cult classics. I'm reminded of another film, released in '76 and titled "In the Heights of Heaven," in which he imagined some pilgrims getting stuck in an elevator waiting to be received by the Pope, ultimately giving in to their worst impulses, including cannibalism. Needless to say, the film caused him no small amount of trouble.

Monumental. I didn't know that Conny Plank played with Cluster.

Great work showing great expertise (of the reviewer). As for the album, I suspect that if someone else had made it, it would be a complete disaster.
Meat Loaf Hang Cool Teddy Bear

A colossal character, a great voice, yet it seems to me that he often threw himself away.

Enjoyable, with a nice glass of Zabov (I live 2 km from the Moccia distilleries).

I have a rather interesting extract (11 tracks), found in a "cestone" in the early '90s. I especially like "The Crystal Ship."

For completeness, it should be noted that throughout the second half of the '70s, Vangelis recorded albums "solo".

Touching. I really appreciate this project and I am grateful for filling a gap. Personally, I prefer their earlier work "The Friends of Mr. Cairo" (with the reggae "State of Independence" and "I'll find my way home"). Regarding Vangelis's absence from Yes, one of the reasons was also the maestro's reluctance to play in a group, which he felt limited his desire to experiment with the potential of synthesizers (it was the same reason that led to disagreements with Demis Roussos during the time of Aphrodite's Child, already after the success of the first album).
Pink Floyd Wish You Were Here
Voto:
Well-written analysis, even though I don’t agree with everything. Technically their best album, practically perfect, a gem among the Floydian pearls of the '70s. However, technique does not kill emotion: in my opinion, Wright's final solo (never again so prominent) in the underrated reprise of "Shine On" is one of the most poignant moments in all of Floyd's production: you can feel the entire sense of loss of something or someone that will not return and ultimately a resigned acceptance. There could not have been a better tribute to Syd.
