Among the REM's work from the '90s, this is the one I like the least, from a strictly musical point of view. The lyrics tackle interesting themes. In my opinion, the best tracks are the two opening ones and "Strange Currencies". I have very few memories of what follows "Bang & Blame".

Essential. There are also those who write pages and pages without saying anything.

Vote of confidence. Then there are Jack Nicholson and Faye Dunaway...

Seen several times: good in its historical reconstruction, also thanks to the soundtrack, the story is told smoothly and carries a profound message (an invitation to accept what happens with serenity, but without resignation). It perhaps suffers from sentimentalism. Tom Hanks is giant.

I too have some doubts about these operations, even if this may be a useful approach to a not-so-easy book. I love Dostoevsky very much, but I haven't tackled "The Brothers Karamazov" yet because more than one person has found it excruciatingly slow. However, the excerpt seems to me to be brilliant and fascinating. As I write, I notice that the de-rango is 3.666 :-)
