Muse Origin of Symmetry
Voto:
A rather sparse review, which I take more as a suggestion. I only know "Plug In Baby" from the album, a not bad track. The "3" for the album was an accidental rating.

It's hard to call this debut of yours a review. Just as it's difficult to define "Fly" as an album. Among the genres, I would add "Silly."

Ten pounds well spent.

The piece preceding "A Play Within A Play" is titled "Thunder".
Jon & Vangelis Short Stories
Voto:
I greatly appreciate the four albums created by Vangelis with Jon Anderson, authors of refined and sometimes unpredictable pop (just think of the opening and closing tracks of this album), even if at times, within the grooves, boredom surfaces. The lead singer of Yes had already participated in the album "Heaven & Hell," performing the song "So Long Ago, So Clear," which has atmospheres similar to certain tracks found in "Earth." The two would also leave a decisive mark on the album that Demis Roussos recorded in 1982, after his famous diet.
Le luci della centrale elettrica Costellazioni

I found the review very evocative, perhaps because I lived in Ferrara for several years and traveled quite a bit around the province for work. Unfortunately, I have little regard for Vasco Brondi, whom I consider a musician of nonsense.
Fabrizio De André Fabrizio De André in Concerto (DVD)
Voto:
I have the CD of this live performance. A top-notch work, and it's a shame that it was De André's last, as he still had so much to say and give. The only drawback of these concerts is, in my opinion, the absence of songs from the works created with Bentivoglio and Piovani (understandable for "Storia di un impiegato," less so for "Non al denaro, non all'amore, né al cielo").
Antonello Venditti Ullalla
Voto:
Last album recorded by Venditti for RCA, it was a commercial failure, following the success of "Lilly". Among Venditti's albums from the '70s, it's the one I know the least, and I'm intrigued by the presence of Calloni and especially Graziani, but also by the lyrics. "Una stupida e lurida storia d'amore" is one of those songs that you appreciate as you leave your youth and enter the years of what should be "maturity". I rate the album on trust.
Edoardo Bennato La mia città
Voto:
Neither infamous nor praised, like much of Bennato's work after 1980.
Roberto Vecchioni Il lanciatore di coltelli
Voto:
A good album, but at times boring. I’ve listened to it two or three times in total. Two memorable tracks, very melancholic and dark, that show how time passes for everyone are, in my opinion, "La bellezza" and "La viola d'inverno." The rest is good craftsmanship. Here, in my view, the filler is "Il mago di Oz," a not very funny distraction.
