I find that with your words you have represented "fantastic images"... however, it pains me that in the end you overlooked an important subjunctive (in terms of) time, if nothing else for "cacophonic" reasons:
"It is music that seeks to strike the listener from behind: deceiving him with its immediacy, with the calmness of tones and sounds, only to then overturn his certainties, should one venture beyond the notes." (spingesse)

Yes, the overall value of the compositions was definitely declining, yet in "And Then..." there are still tracks of a certain level, as well as in "Duke"; the very song Abacab is very beautiful... today I would go to great lengths to have an album on par with "And Then..."
