Erik Satie - Alessandra Celletti (piano) Esoterik Satie
Voto:
Hello Copernicus, hello Mr. Nobody... I'm new here at DeB and I'm very happy to have visitors for my review right away. To Mr. Nobody, I would like to say that it's true: I tend to be a bit too brief, but we can always add insights about the great Satie and this beautiful CD by Celletti as we go along. I also have "The Minimalism Of Erik Satie" by the Vienna Art Orchestra. It's pleasant, but in my opinion, Satie played on the piano (which is the original instrument for which he wrote most of his works) is much more interesting and beautiful.
Brian Eno Another Day on Earth

Hi Odradek...I find out that you also admire Brian Eno, the song author...like you, I bought this new CD in the hope of finding that Brian Eno there...Anyway, I liked "This."
Alessandra Celletti Metamorphosis
Voto:
Yes, let's hope that Odradek reappears... anyway, I'll try to follow your advice and write something myself as well... but - without giving any unnecessary compliments - I'm not that good.
Ludovico Einaudi I Giorni
Voto:
But... anyway, Einaudi is very successful, so there's definitely something good about him... I also personally prefer other "minimalists." Especially Philip Glass. I recommend a beautiful review by Odradek on Metamorphosis, a recording of Glass's music performed by Alessandra Celletti on piano.

Thanks to Grasshoper for such a great review of a wonderful record.
Philip Glass The Hours
Voto:
You are right, Francesco. The film is of great intensity and very complex, and the music blends very well with the emotions of the story being told. I’ve listened to this album many times, and I also found some tracks from the soundtrack in Metamorphosis, another beautiful CD with music by Glass performed on piano by Alessandra Celletti. If you like the music of our great minimalist, I really recommend listening to this album. The pieces are perhaps even played on piano.
