I swear, I've never read so much nonsense all at once nor the word "parody" so many times in so few sentences. I know you think you had a good idea. That's not the case. And don't reply that this is the parody of a negative comment because etc.

Well, you might be right if I had mentioned other interpretations (the magnetic one by Melvyn Douglas, the sulfurous one - in her apathy - by Shelley Winters, the one - in the style of Antonioni - by I. Adjani) or if I had focused on some technical details (I didn't talk about the long takes with the mechanical arm, nor the cinematography, nor the wonderful music), but I made a stylistic choice and leaned more towards the dreamy-analytical aspect of the matter. Then again, of course, Polanski gives a standout performance as Trelkowski, and by the way, he dubs himself. Still, yes, if I could go back, I would celebrate Polanski the actor. Never mind the explanatory lines above. :)

Gusti, I believe :) "slatentizza" means to reveal (heh heh) what is hidden. Since it's a very psychological film, I liked using this term, usually found in psychiatric files (referring to schizophrenia, psychopathy, and various lovely things). Anyway, yes, "palesare" was more concise. saludos.

Hey, look, many of the best songs ever talk about "bullshit." The real bullshit, without quotes, is what comes out when certain restless souls pick up an electric guitar and start rambling about misery, quoting here Baudelaire and there Verlaine. That's where the shit rises to the surface.
