maybe you’re exaggerating a bit, but it’s really a nice review.. I’ve never appreciated this one too much, in my opinion, Mascis is starting to rot a bit. The masterpiece for me remains "you're living all over me."

Saw it yesterday.. I liked it a lot. Especially its strength is the extraordinary use of the soundtrack, which, like never before in this film, is incredibly explanatory and never decorative. It's a musical in the truest sense, telling the story more through music than through plot. Beautiful.

Hi Psycho! This is probably the best one... it’s also the most shamelessly Barrettian, in fact. More than the first "I am you are," which is also an interesting album... I haven't listened to the last one though, but I've heard from multiple sources that they share your opinion... what a pity.

not for the review itself, but this album is simply embarrassing. zero stars. after all, there's a ton of interesting releases in the Italian indie scene on a monthly basis, so why waste a review on this farce of an album? ..thankfully music in Italy has moved a bit beyond Litfiba and Ligabue (and the rest). In places like Deb, one should really notice this.

Ehm, it will be... but if I'm not mistaken, he knows more about Franz Ferdinand than I do :-) Scaruffi isn't the only one around; on the other hand, there are at least a few thousand groups much better than these jokers. By the way, have you ever listened to Josef K? No, because to say that Franz Ferdinand are the same is literally an understatement. And Josef K have 30 years of experience. Clearly, you're right; spending too much time reading Scaruffi can be harmful: it would be better to use that time to actually listen to some records ;-D
