The Cure Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me
Voto:
The problem lies precisely in the definition of "discarded tracks," something that I believe cannot be attributed to any piece of "kiss me." Each track has its own personality, it’s different from the others, and this is enough to make it appealing or at least justify its presence. That there are less successful tracks is inevitable, but the reason this album holds up better (in my opinion) compared to other more prestigious works by The Cure is precisely because, being so varied, it doesn’t fall into the trap of losing tone or intensity; overall, it always manages to surprise and avoids becoming boring.

Exactly!! Enormously more original, creative, and less banal than the "theater of dreams"!!

Anyway, Caz is right, it's not just terrible, that Bellamy is really an idiot!! One time I read an interview where he claimed that his music was inspired by experiences with "the afterlife" that he had when he was a kid!! Give me a break!!!! What a stupid band!!!!

For Airbag: I couldn't care less about the lowered average (I don't even know what my average is), it just seemed pretentious to me that by writing a fundamentally similar review (I still, after re-reading yours, don’t notice major differences), you try to bury mine! The comparison with the Linikin is far from absurd, as I find them equally unconvincing and fake, and the comparison with the Radiohead is inevitable!! Bellamy asked for it, with his interpretations so close to Thom Yorke (and company), I didn’t make that up!

Back in the loop of the various soft machine etc.??!! Well.. Allow me to doubt it.. It seems to me that even their most Progressive works are always only RELATIVELY progressive. I don’t know what your concept of genius is, but (generally speaking) for me, the more a piece is irregular, divergent, and original, the closer it gets to genius, and from this point of view, I consider Careful to be one of the most genius tracks by the Floyd.. that it’s similar to Canterbury is true, but very much to a limited extent; it indeed carries forward a particularly paranoid idea of a piece, quite typical of Waters. I didn’t say that Gilmour did countless solos before DSOTM, you read it wrong!! I said that your definition of his work is rather restrictive, given that he has significantly contributed to the Floyd’s sound from Saucerful onwards (solos or not, I don’t care), and Live at Pompeii fully confirms that. And besides, I mentioned TWO pieces by Barrett, not three. "Set the controls.." until proven otherwise, was entirely composed by Waters.

Hi Nick!! No, I assure you that Easycure2 is not my "evil" alter ego; it's just another sly one who prefers to remain anonymous. I had never heard Wilco before, a bit heavily subdued, but cool and spaced out just enough.. Nice!!

Aside from the fact that the comment above wasn't addressed to you, excuse me, Sigur Ros, clouddead, Interpol, Rapture (not to mention the others), they wouldn't "be saved", huh? Who are you? The one who listens to Iron Maiden and Metallica? We’re doing great...

As beautiful as this album is, perhaps it deserved a more in-depth description... The best of REM!
