I don't believe that "Kiss me" was an "anomalous" album... after all, Robert Smith has always done a bit of everything. A review that's a bit too brief but nice.

I liked it. And you also convinced me about an album that I didn't know and that I'm going to look for right away...

Nothing essential, just a little more than mediocre. But better this than Core..

Ah ah ah ah! Crackerman, your comment shows ridiculous ignorance. Meanwhile, Green River, featuring the future Mudhoney leader Mark Arm, but also, surprise, Stone Gossard and Jeff Ament, the very first formation of the new Seattle rock (if you really don’t want to call it Grunge), was born in 1984 and played rock that was anything but Glam. Secondly, Alice in Chains debuted in 1990 with Facelift, which is TWO years before Core, playing the SAME IDENTICAL MUSIC that would echo two years later with Core, and they never even dreamed of playing glam! You should listen to them again; it’s better, and then come back to judge the STP.

Do you need to listen to this album 4-5 times to understand how much of a mess it is? And then, who the hell cares about the recording quality of an album? It has nothing to do with the quality of the album itself.
