I'm attached to it too; my ex used to listen to it all the time. :( Cute but not essential, though nice reception. Welcome!

Great anto! I agree that he should be listened to because he's honest, but beyond that, I'm starting off a bit biased.. In my opinion, Robertone is definitely on the decline..

Abruzzese the most technical and complete? Portnoy from another planet? I hope you’re not also a drummer in addition to being not a very sharp listener, otherwise... MAMMA MIA, we’re in for it..

Alice, I'm not going to summarize all the steps of my reasoning for you; I'll just tell you that it was motivated by the simple fact that beyond the labels New Metal and Crossover, they are in fact two sides of the same coin. Therefore, if you are a little bit flexible and not too dependent on what you read in magazines and newspapers, you can easily treat them as a unique genre, given that they have few and insignificant differences from a strictly musical point of view. If you had listened to them well like I have, being a 90s kid who grew up with Crossover and New Metal, you would probably come to the same conclusion.

To Helder: Dream Theater are a mediocre band and repetitive, standardized musicians, and if you like them... that's your problem.

Wow!! You really know a lot of drummers.. Just to clarify, I’ve also mentioned Jimmy Chamberlin more than once, but to define Jack Irons as a "normal drummer tending to mediocre" you must be truly, profoundly brain-damaged.. I recommend you go back and listen to "In my tree" on "No code" and then we can talk about great drumming..
