Dream Theater Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes From a Memory

x WINO: look, you said it yourself, word for word: "the DT are only misunderstood and never understood, 'only a few people can understand them,' statements that are not exactly humble until proven otherwise. Moreover, saying 'only a few can understand them' is equivalent to defining those few as the 'chosen ones,' it’s Italian. Guys, don’t you even know what you’re writing?

Gilles, 1) you've practically repeated your first comment, change it a bit. 2) watch your spelling, the comment above is written really poorly. 3) I write what I want, as long as it stays within the boundaries of being non-offensive and a legitimate opinion, because, I repeat, this is a free site... Instead of criticizing so much, why don't you write a nice celebratory elegy for your heroes, assuming you are capable, PROVE that your criticisms are worth something.

x Attilio: honestly, I am amazed, Attilio, that a mature person like you can criticize me for responding to the anonymous comment from a few comments above; read it again for a moment: don't you realize the madness (because it truly can't be defined in any other way) of that comment? Anyway, aside from everything, if someone allows themselves to offend, I'm sorry, but personal matters or not, I have the right to respond. Secondly, realize, Attilio, that you are an intelligent person; this brings out personal facts without anyone asking for them, let alone being obliged, and moreover expects that in the name of these facts I should remain silent? I’m sorry, but I have to define that as truly pretentious and arrogant.

P.S. I still have fun in the end, personal offenses or not, so, you see, I'm glad I brought it on myself.. ; )

Downtown, sorry to insist.. but I get a lot of fuck yous because we often deal with fanatics.. Not to say, but really, all this taking it personally isn't very healthy, it's a bit morbid at least.. after all, you and Attilio are the living proof that it's possible to have a normal discussion (as heated as it may be) without taking offense, right?

Articles on the internet? No, not exactly.. apart from my extensive discography on Seattle rock, my information that isn't based on direct listening goes back to "Grunge", a manual by Eddy Cilia, which I recommend you delve into, because AIC don’t even have a shadow of glam. Moreover, you are absolutely inaccurate; first, because by '89-'90 most of the Seattle bands had already been around for a while, so you actually confirm that STP were quite late to the scene; second, you say that Pearl Jam were "very different" before the release of Nevermind.. Small detail: the first album by Pearl Jam (Ten) was released in September '91, right around the same time as Nevermind.. you do the math. Conclusion: you’ve shot a considerable load of nonsense, get better informed.
