I was fully expecting it.
Green Day Dookie

Dookie, there's really nothing to be done, it’s an album to be fully respected. One of the emblems of the '90s generation, as the review rightly points out in the lyrics before the music. And for all its devotion to Husker Du etc., it's an album that is generally far superior to Californian melodic punk. Interpreted in a varied and fun way, it’s never banal in terms of arrangements. What a great little record!

The cover totally rocks!
Pink Floyd The Wall

mmm to respond to Caz: I think the desire to go further in the post-meddle era is stronger in Animals than in The Wall! I completely agree about Dark Side... psychedelia for thirteen-year-olds... and anyway, no album from Dark Side onward is worth the shoes of the Floyd from '67-'71.

Toscanaccio! I swear, I can't stand them! They seem like a gigantic joke. Same effects as The Strokes, same voice as The Strokes, same way of interpreting the song... my God! These guys will last a couple of months at most!
