Banco del Mutuo Soccorso No Palco

Dear Nightwalker10, it seems that you did not read my review very well. If there is a fan of Banco, that's me. I own the complete discography of only two bands, and one of them is Banco. I have loved them and still love them intensely. I consider them one of the greatest European prog bands, not just Italian. I simply expressed disappointment in the result of the CD No Palco, but I would never dream of disputing their worth. Their albums are still milestones in their genre for me. Ultimately, I am not contesting the fact that you did not like the review, which is your full right, but perhaps you thought that I am a denigrator of the band, while I assure you that I am an admirer. And I can't stand Dream Theater. With sympathy.

I respond to Killgod: Yes, I think they were the best. PFM had a more immediate and rock sound; Banco was the classic prog band made up of classical music enthusiasts trying for an "intellectual" approach to the new music. Still, PFM was great too.
Antonello Venditti Sotto il Segno dei Pesci

To consider this album one of Venditti's best works, you must overlook the beautiful albums he recorded before (Lilly, Ullàlla, Quando verrà Natale, Thorius Campus). That was the real Venditti: original, fresh, and full of ideas. With Sotto il segno dei Pesci, his decline began, leading him to scribble the little songs he still serves us today.
