Dark Funeral Diabolis Interium
Voto:
Nazgul is synonymous with quality, this is well known. But I've never been able to stand Dark Funeral, just a lot of noise and little else. I won't rate the album because I don't know it, but from what you say, it seems they've tidied themselves up a bit... am I wrong?
Skinless Trample The Weak, Hurdle The Dead

real man brutal why don't you take a look at a math book? things would be clearer to you. Thanks aniel and......grrrr.......grrrrrrazzzzzz ie Cronos...roll up your sleeves and get to work.....:-) Anyway, dear friend "Time", you are right, now that you mention it they do resemble internal bleeding, although the latter are a bit more hardcore punk. This style doesn't drive me crazy, I prefer more murky things...

No sir, aiel, I would say the circumstances are different. Generally, I review the albums that leave a strong impression on me, this to explain the various 4. On the other hand, what was I supposed to do, give this record a 3 or less? It doesn’t deserve that, it wouldn’t be fair. After all, how can I mock a very good album (compare the review on vile of the cannibals)? I can also tear down a very good record without thereby undermining its true value. For type brutal, modulo stands for "absolute value"... thanks for the 1, you really kick ass... what a joke!

Ladies and gentlemen, the situation is complicated. I, as a reviewer, have to give this record a 4 because it deserves a 4, no more and no less. But there’s a catch. An album like this is worth a 4 for someone who is a neophyte or for those who know death metal but not Skinless. Skinless, as understood by someone familiar with their discography, is something else, so I feel compelled to make some serious criticisms of this album.
Dark Tranquillity The Gallery
Voto:
And let me clarify again. It's not At The Gates, nor Dark Tranquillity, and certainly not In Flames who started it all. It was Unanimated who, back in 1992, released an LP of pure melodic death ("The Forest of Dreaming Dead"). The review is good even though I've never liked the album. However, it's a cornerstone of the genre, so I'll hold back.
Destruction The Antichrist

At your age, I wouldn't have done any better. Good review (aniel, be less harsh; I would have liked to see you write like that at his age!)
Six Feet Under Haunted
Voto:
Great analysis of the group in question (I particularly liked the ending "for those who know the major death groups, they should be hit with clubs"). The rating seems a bit high to me, but maybe deep down "Haunted" deserves it. An ambiguous group that, in my opinion, does its best when it plays Death Rock (which is at least something minimally original). Barnes wanted something less burdensome and turned to a side project where he could not take himself too seriously. Excellent review.
Trauma DetermiNation
Voto:
no justice, I should have specified it, but they have nothing to do with it. They were doing Heavy and were from California. (by the way, they were formed in '86... a devilish sign?). Thanks for the support, fan club friends, signed records for everyone if I win...
Current 93 Dogs Blood Rising
Voto:
my absolute favorite by Current 93. Simply stunning, one of the worst nightmares ever. The review is even better than the others, equally thorough but more accessible.
Disgorge Parallels Of Infinite Torture

cronos, I understand you, but I think this gets close (technically it definitely surpasses it). Jawbreaker, thank you so much for your unwavering defense... one for all, all for one.
