a sparse review but, all in all, comprehensive. I perceive the turning point of Satyricon more as a betrayal. But if we think about it, they've always been a bit ahead of the others, so let them do their thing and let's see where it takes them.

I unjustly hated Satyricon because of a jerk who made them his flag. I listened to them back then, and, obviously influenced by this idiot, I found them at least ridiculous. I recently re-listened to them and, having freed myself from prejudices, I found them awesome, truly something rare in Black Metal. The album is beautiful, and even the "nemesis divina," which I unjustly criticized, is too. I publicly apologize to Satyr, Frost, and any of their collaborators. Good review (even though, in my opinion, the best vocalizations in Black are by Nocturno Culto and Burzum).
