but look at you being so nice! thanks everyone, I couldn't stay away from the keyboard any longer so I’m back to annoy you a bit with my riba that nobody gives a shit about. Vivis, I think this is one of the worst covers ever conceived although some grind bands might outdo it. In any case, thanks to everyone, aniel, sir headly, and corey. Anyway gueddo, you’ll have to tell me what happened in my absence.

Ah, the ratings: the review is much higher than others on Nirvana, although it perhaps leans too heavily on Kurt's emotions which, unless you were his best friend, I'm not sure if they were truly like that.

And what about tepes? He says it, he says it. In utero is a great album, in many ways superior to nevermind. I can't stand Kurt Cobain: promising artists kill themselves by the dozens and no one talks about it. Enough with the bullshit like "Kurt was killed by success." He was fine with success, he made plenty of cash that he then freely chose to smoke away while getting high after high. A cursed poet? Maybe, even though for me he remains an inept (in a Svevian sense) anywhere. Peace to his soul, he made some great albums, but we’re far from beatifying him...

convey the idea and a smile, talking about the size of the members, you tear it apart. Good mood analysis, but I would have defined it much more as irritated rather than depressed and cold. I find it warm, even scorching and suffocating. Nevertheless, the review isn't bad; a few more details wouldn't hurt.

From the new Barnes group, no one felt the need (let alone for the torture killers, for heaven's sake). The only decent albums are Graveyard Classic I and II (II especially), true death n roll that is fun and mocking. The review is beautiful and sarcastic but at times a bit awkward (that's why no 5). The album is definitely quite ugly.

the worst of cryptopsy in my opinion. It's neither flesh nor fish (that is, neither dark like I don't know vile nor technical and convoluted like and then you'll beg). In any case, it's an excellent album light years better than many others.

I agree with you, but I would also include Carrionshire and Endless Cemetery.

I could bring you a study conducted on a sample of double size that proves the opposite and verify it with a 50% confidence interval...

From this CD, or rather, as the good Gueddo rightly reminds us, from Killing on Adrenaline, Dying Fetus have started grinding my balls. Too, too, too, too hardcore. The technique is sacrificed multiple times, and above all the lyrics (mature as you want and blah blah blah) lose that nihilistic and pessimistic vein that characterizes socially-oriented death works. So much anger, good ideas, but I prefer the early Dying Fetus (Grotesque Impalement, Infatuation with Malevolence, and Purification Through Violence), true pillars of Brutal in NY.

Absolutely essential album for understanding where brutal death metal is heading. A path that's too overused by now and already starts to smell old. The album was doing quite well back in the day. Great consideration of the technical level, good review. However, I want to make it clear that the discography also includes 1.3.8. and not just Butcher the Weak. Many of the tracks present on 1.3.8 and on Molesting the Decapitated have been redone in Butcher the Weak.
