Dots, indeed the slip on Burning W(h)itch is quite ugly... as for O'Malley, Steve is the diminutive of Stephen... in any case; the White series is the one that left me the least impressed, indeed, I found one of the two downright ugly (I think it was the first). This is, in my opinion, the most authentic; the others seem to me, as you rightly say, repetitive. De gustibus, of course. As for Earth, I find them really boring, and let's face it, apart from the idea, Sunn have nothing of Earth. Take for example Extracapsular extraction and compare it to this... they're two very different things apart from the basic concept. If you then tell me that apart from Earth, no one was doing it, that's a whole different story. Vincent, it can cause nausea if listened to at high volumes, at least that’s what I’ve been told. But you know, I don't know whether to believe it or not; when it comes to extreme music, everyone makes up their own bullshit.

khatarsys, I wouldn't say so... In my opinion, Panzerfaust is a very atypical black. The guitar is quite meaty, the vocals are close to the growl of Soulside Journey. The tempos are slow... I would say it's more classic Under a Funeral Moon.

I thank everyone. Senmayan, the eloquent and linobanfesco "azzo". MIEN, I can only suggest that you try again. Black One is perhaps a bit more open, but to be honest, I think it's a bit of a farce. They clearly just want to impress; in this album, things are different. One gets themselves into a serious mess with the Drone for a variety of reasons, not least of which is a painful romantic disappointment that both Black and Death exacerbate. So, one dives into the Drone, in a completely different dimension. Aniel, in my opinion, you should try again even if I don't think it's your genre.

Your pure feelings...your flaming hate...it was not enough...GOD HOW I ADORE THAT SONG! I mostly like the album just because of that song. I don't agree with your historical analysis, I think that for me Panzerfaust should be excluded from the trio not under a funeral moon. Nonetheless, the review is good and I share your final judgment. Too bad it’s a duplicate.

SO, I did a statistical study on a group of metalheads. EVERYONE knows this album and Waco Jesus, EVERYONE says this album sucks, NOBODY can say why it sucks since NOBODY has listened to it. Now, my opinion is that our guys' move to put a broken butt like a cookie on the cover worked halfway. I mean, everyone talks about it (negatively) only because they put a particularly striking cover. But for the rest, my dear friends, it’s just an ordinary DeathGrind album like so many others out there. I don’t know how many I could mention that are equal to or worse than this, which all metalheads consider better just because they have a less ugly cover. In short, just like Purulent Spermcanal makes an impression with the name, Waco Jesus makes an impression with the cover, but from a musical standpoint, both are absolutely irrelevant (for better or worse).

Ah, Duane, remember that whoever offends the Brutal offends me. Those who offend the Brutal in a stupid way offend me in a stupid way, and if there's one thing I hate, it's being offended in a stupid way. Moral of the story? I am very offended; I would challenge you to a virtual duel if it weren't for the fact that your comments are months old. Damned music connoisseur.

Roby, you write well but I don't quite agree with you. I see the label change like this: Nuclear Blast has always been a pretty "commercial" label, pushing its roster with over-the-top productions and keeping them, so to speak, in cotton wool (after all, if the mixing does everything, why bother?). In my opinion, the songs are not any harsher, unless by harshness you mean immediacy: the technical aspect of the drums, in my view, has taken a step back just like the vocal side (Sanders sings less, and the other isn't that great). Final note: "Even The Gods Must Die" is a punch to the gut!!!! The arrangement is horrible and seems made with one of those fake cell phones that kids play with; it’s clumsy. After two minutes of boring intro, Sanders starts with a kind of solo done entirely with the whammy bar, which makes you feel like you're being forced to endure how predictable it is. Let’s not hide behind a finger; they are no longer the Nile of once.

Thank you night, I don't have anything against ;urphy mortally, I simply say that he can't be considered the best death guitarist of all time, as many do.
