It's always an evolution of Death... and if you read better, I've placed them among "the good ones," those who know how to play damn well.

Dear, I love music, it’s not clear what music you "love" since you always give one to everyone and any review... I feel like you’re just a loser who hates everyone because everyone understands something about life more than you do... take nickghostdrake... he hates brutal but at least loves Coltrane... what the hell do you like?

little by little...The purulent spermcanal (which, among other things, are an absolutely irrelevant group and I don't understand why on this site, when talking about brutal-death-grind, they bring these guys up when there are much more "famous" bands with equally impactful monikers) are part of what I've defined as the playful side of the genre, of dubious taste and very little artistic value. They, like Cannibal Corpse, like most Death bands, don't stimulate anything other than pure destruction. But there is a big difference between them and artists of the caliber of Cryptopsy, Gorguts, Skinless, Cephalic Carnage, Suffocation, etc.!

surferkangoroo, I really appreciate your flattering compliments, and I am ready to refute your thesis. You see, comparing death and thrash can make sense, but Brutal, which is my favorite genre, can only be compared to Death. Comparing it to any other musical category is impossible, primarily because the melody is almost entirely absent or, at the very least, difficult to identify. This genre is a bit of a universe unto itself: I review this genre because it’s what I know best and I don’t feel comfortable reviewing an (ex) AC/DC album, a band whose entire discography I have, but whose genre I don’t fully understand. Brutal Death is the kind of music that stirs the most emotions and reflections in me: it’s not just noise; it’s music, and music is born from feelings (hopefully). It’s obvious that many works in this genre have purely playful intent, but we shouldn’t paint everything with the same brush.

Sergio Cofferati, you really are an idiot; it's a pity that I'm dumb enough not to have realized it right away. No comment.
