There are
rules for writing (and DeBaser loves them)
Check spelling and syntax: we are not at school, but many are reading you and they are all ready to call you a fool.
Some important things:
The songs mentioned in the text must be in quotes and the initial letter of each word in an English title should be capitalized (except for prepositions, conjunctions, and articles):
But how beautiful is "Another Brick in the Wall"?
In Italian, though, no:
"Il mare verticale" by Benvegnù is really very emotional.
Even the names of the artists of the groups must be written with capital initials:
not jimi hendrix, but Jimi Hendrix.
Always use a space after punctuation (not before):
so NO: I think, but I'm not that sure, that this record, the first in a long series of masterpieces, will be remembered by future generations.
so YES: I think, but I'm not that sure, that this record, the first in a long series of masterpieces, will be remembered by future generations.
There is no space before and after the apostrophe (unless it's a truncation, for example: un po’ di amor proprio).
The text in parentheses (and in quotes) "touches" the parentheses (and the quotes) themselves (no spaces).
If it's not necessary to shout, DO NOT WRITE SENTENCES IN ALL CAPS.
The Italian keyboard has all the characters needed to write the review, so, please, but do NOT (let's repeat: DO NOT) use SMS style.
